The XPEDITION 2 i-Size is the successor to the iconic Kinderkraft XPEDITION. Every component has been carefully engineered to ensure maximum protection and comfort for your child during travel. The XPEDITION 2 i-Size is a 4-piece multi-functional car seat for children between 40 and 150 cm (0-36 kg, from birth to approx. 12 years). Compliant with the latest R129 i-Size standard for car seats, it has been crash-tested under very rigorous conditions.
This reversible car seat allows you to carry a rear-facing child (RWF) up to around 4 years (up to 105 cm, up to 20 kg). Remember that the RWF position is 5 times safer in a frontal collision, especially for children under 4 years old!
Thanks to special systems, transporting your child in the XPEDITION 2 i-Size seat is even safer. The H-GUARD (triple-layer memory foam reinforced headrest) protects the baby's sensitive neck, head and shoulders.Body protection is provided by the SPS, i.e. the high, wide side panels, which are further reinforced to ensure complete safety for the baby.
The XPEDITION 2 i-Size is a swivel restraint with an integrated base that allows the restraint to quickly and easily swivel sideways towards the door to facilitate positioning and securing the child in the restraint with internal straps. The EASY SPIN 360° system also makes it easy to change the RWF position to FWF without removing the seat from the car. Thanks to ISOFIX and TOP TETHER, you can easily secure it in the car, and additional solutions increase the comfort of using the seat when travelling.
Highest security standard
XPEDITION 2 i-Size is the even safer successor to its predecessor. It complies with the latest R129 i-Size standard, which requires even more rigorous crash tests, including side impact tests. It passed these tests with flying colours, ensuring maximum protection for your child. Allows a child up to around 4 years (105 cm, 20 kg) to be carried in a forward-facing (RWF) position, which is up to 5 times safer in the event of a frontal impact.

The XPEDITION 2 i-Size is a multifunctional car seat that protects your child from birth to around 12 years of age (36 kg/150 cm tall). It is a seat adapted to children of different sizes and requirements, combining 4 height ranges. In addition, to meet the needs of the smallest children, the seat has an ERGO PAD insert with AIR FLOW system, which reduces the gap between the child and the seat body, which affects the correct anatomical position of the body, and therefore the safety and comfort of the child.
EASY 360° TURN
The EASY SPIN 360° system allows you to quickly and easily turn the chair towards the door. It makes it easy to seat and secure the child with the 5-point internal straps. You can also quickly change the setting from RWF to FWF without removing and reattaching the chair.
Safe journeys
The XPEDITION 2 i-Size has two additional safety features to further protect your child when travelling. The H-GUARD+ system is a reinforced 3-layer memory foam headrest that absorbs the impact force of a collision. The memory foam in the head restraint ensures comfort and safety for your child. They do not deform during use, remain flexible and elastic for longer, reduce the distance between the baby's body and the seat body and are very comfortable. All of this will ensure your baby's safety and comfort for many years to come.
The SPS, on the other hand, has high reinforced side shields that provide protection for the child by removing and dispersing excessive impact force to maximise protection for the head, neck and shoulders.
Quick installation with ISOFIX
For the sake of the environment and for the convenience of parents, we have decided to switch to an electronic user manual. With QR codes on the chair bodies, these instructions are always at hand. Thanks to ISOFIX and TOP TETHER, you can easily install the seat in the car (the anchorage points have indicators to facilitate correct installation). It only takes a moment to install the seat in the car and the indicators turn green.
Customized for child
The XPEDITION 2 i-Size has the EASY GROW SYSTEM (7-step headrest adjustment with straps) and RECLINING (4-step seat angle adjustment for an older child in the FWF position). Correctly adjusting the seat angle in relation to the seat not only improves the comfort of the journey, but also increases its safety - the seat is more stable and better protects the small passenger.
ERGO PAD input
The XPEDITION 2 i-Size is equipped with the ergonomic enhanced ERGO PAD insert with AIR FLOW system. This not only ensures the anatomical positioning of the child's body during the ride, guaranteeing his comfort and proper spinal development, but also ensures airflow on hot days while riding. The lining is designed for children up to 60 cm in height and has an additional layer that dissipates impact energy before it reaches the child in the event of a collision.
